Andrew Norman Wilson (born 27th October 1950), is a writer known for his critical biographies, novels and works of popular and cultural history. He is also a columnist for the London Evening Standard and Daily Telegraph. A. N. Wilson was educated at Rugby School and New College, Oxford. He is a fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and holds a prominent position in the world of literature and journalism. He is the author of "The Laird of Abbotsford" and of critical introductions to Ivanhoe and Rob Roy.
